How to clear all history and activity data in your Chrome and Edge browsers

Have you ever heard that your problems with an online application are related to your browser?  "Have you cleared your cache?"  Well, let's first describe what cache is.

What is Cache (sounds like cash) ? - Data that is stored temporarily in a computing environment.  "In short, browsers typically cache what are known as "static assets" - parts of a website that do not change from visit to visit."

Sometimes though, this cache becomes "full" or even "corrupted" and must be cleared to allow other applications to function normally in your browser.

So, how can you clear this cache?
